Changes & cancellations
Message us on Instagram as soon as you can. Cancellations less than 30 minutes before your pickup window can't be refunded, since your drinks are already in the works.
Allergies
Cross-contamination is possible, but we do our best to accommodate allergies. List them in the notes when you order.
Late pickups
Iced drinks are best within 30 minutes of your window. Running late? Send a DM and we'll hold your order.

Named for the whisk
A chasen is the bamboo whisk used to prepare matcha, carved from a single piece of bamboo into dozens of fine tines. It's how every drink here starts.
Chasen Matcha + Coffee Club is a small, pickup-only kitchen in Buffalo Grove. We use ceremonial grade matcha from Japan, sift it, and whisk it by hand for each order, then finish it with fresh add-ons and coffee made the same day.
Good questions
What does "ceremonial grade" mean?
It's the highest grade of matcha, stone-ground from young shade-grown tea leaves. It tastes smooth and naturally sweet, without the bitterness of culinary matcha used for baking.
Do you have dairy-free options?
All drinks are made with whole milk unless you add oat milk. For other dairy-free options, DM us on Instagram to check availability.
Can you accommodate allergies?
Cross-contamination is possible, but we do our best to accommodate any allergies. Please list them in the notes on your order.

How do I pay?
